Starts: Victoria Monument, Derby Square – 2pm Tuesdays


In 2008 Liverpool One opened to great acclaim. On this walk we can see how, thanks to bold decisions by the council, planners and designers, the city centre was reconnected to the waterfront and the business district in ways that were innovative and yet respectful of the city’s great heritage.


Walk this way... to take in an abundance of culture and heritage at Albert Dock & the Pier Head, two distinct areas of our World Heritage City, with their iconic buildings and wonderful attractions.


Starts: Tourist Info, Albert Dock – 2pm daily

Enjoy a walk along the riverfront, hear some of the history of the Albert Dock and Pier Head, areas of the UNESCO World Heritage City, as well as sampling the cultural attractions that this riverside location offers, including the Museum of Liverpool, Tate Gallery and Maritime Museum. Find out more about iconic emblems of our city such as the historic Mersey Ferries and the mythical Liver Bird.

Starts: Tourist Info, Albert Dock – 11am daily

Taking in the stunning riverside of Liverpool, from Albert Dock with its many attractions and the Pier Head with its iconic buildings and famous Liver Birds, to the city’s two oldest buildings – the Town Hall and the Bluecoat, via the Cavern Quarter and Liverpool’s most vibrant new development Liverpool One, this walk highlights how centuries of development have transformed this famous maritime city.

Walk this way… in the footsteps of the Beatles with the tour that takes you up close to see fascinating places in the story of their rise to fame.


Starts: In front of the Adelphi Hotel - 2pm Saturdays


Stories and memories of the "four lads who shook the world"  are etched into the Liverpool landscape charting where their early gigs laid the foundations for a meteoric rise to fame. This 2hr tour takes you to birthplaces, homes and schools as well as clubs and pubs where they began the journey to becoming the biggest band in the world.
